Dr Sidd Sarmah

Dr Sidd Sarmah trained in general practice in the UK before moving to Australia with his family. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners with a special interest in skin cancer , sleep medicine and  musculoskeletal medicine.He holds a  professional certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery.

He has a strong interest in mental health promotion locally, sitting on the oversight committee for the  Medicare Mental Health Centre and the  JRP committee for mental health on the Gold Coast. Being a graduate from the Australian Inst of Company Directors and achieving his GAICD qualification, he brings a governance background to his academic roles as Honorary Adjunct Assistant Professor at Bond University and Senior Clinical Lecturer at Griffith University. He also holds prominent advocacy roles as Chair of AMA Queensland’s Council of General Practice, Chair of the Queensland GP Alliance, and incoming Chair of the Gold Coast PHN Clinical Council.

He heads the team as a director, building the practice into an accessible, world class community hub for general practice.

Dr Annaliesa Colcomb-White

MRCGP, MBBS, MBchB (Hons), FRACGP

Dr Annaliesa is an empathetic and friendly GP who has moved from Cambridgeshire with her family to Australia. She trained at the university of Leicester and did her junior doctor years at Addenbrookes Hospital which is a centre of excellence in the UK. This reinforced her love for paediatrics and children’s medicine .

Dr Annaliesa completed her GP training in 2015 and has since enjoyed a thriving career in General Practice. She enjoys every aspect of family medicine but has a particular special interest in paediatrics, women’s health, mental health and chronic disease management.

Dr Annaliesa has achieved accreditation with the Australia Menopause Society which recognised doctors proving exemplary care to menopausal and perimenopausal patients. She is now available to provide specialist services to patients of perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms.

Unfortunately Dr Annaliesa has closed her books due to popular demand will only see her regular existing patients.

Dr Alyson Hee

MBChB,FRACGP, MRCGP, DRANZCOG, DRCOG, DFSRH

Dr Alyson Hee was originally born in Singapore and left for the UK to study her ‘A’ levels in a sixth form college in Cambridge. She then graduated from the University of Glasgow and went on to complete her GP training in 2011.

Dr Alyson Hee is an enthusiastic and approachable GP who enjoys all aspects of family medicine and has a special interest in women’s health. She has completed the Gold Coast GP Maternity Alignment Programme and can provide antenatal shared care. She is also qualified to provide contraception services such as Implanon and Mirena insertions.

She was previously a GP partner within the National Health Service and has also worked in the UK private healthcare sector. She has been involved in the teaching and training of medical students, having been a medical educator at the University of Glasgow for several years. In addition, she has been an interviewer for the university’s medical school admissions.

She is currently working part-time as a Assoicate Professor in Primary Care and is the academic Lead in General Practice (Gold Coast) at Griffith University.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She loves travelling to different countries, embracing new cultures and experiences.

Dr Berlinda Bautista

MD, FRACGP

Dr Berlinda has a special interest in women’s health, Children’s Health, Mental Health and Chronic Diseases. She has worked extensively with Allied Health Professionals as part of a holistic approach in the management of chronic conditions.

Dr Thura Tun

MBS, AFSA, MRCSEd, MRCGP, FRACGP, DRCOG, LLM

Dr Thura Tun believes that the key to family medicine is approachability and the continuity of care. He enjoys giving holistic care in every aspect of general practice including managing diabetes, hypertension and musculoskeletal issues. Before becoming a GP, Dr Thura Tun had experience working in cardiothoracic surgery, orthopedics and emergency medicine in France and the UK. He has a master’s degree in medical law. Beside English, he speaks French and Burmese. He loves playing the classical guitar in his free time.

Dr Amna Salman

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Amna is a very experienced GP and has a very keen interest in skin checks and skin cancer detection and management.

Besides skin checks, Dr Amna is also skilled in chronic disease management , women and child health and can do pre-employment and immigration medicals.

Dr Amna is a GP trainer as well and involved in training medical students and GP registrars with AGPT and Rural GP training programs.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading ,travelling (and food!)

Dr Ayowale Olutoye Salami

Dr Ayowale Olutoye Salami (known as Toye) completed his general practice training in Australia. Prior to this, he trained and worked in acute care medicine in Nigeria, gaining broad experience across anaesthesia, intensive care medicine, and emergency medicine.

After relocating to Australia, Toye continued working in emergency medicine before choosing to pursue a career in general practice, where he enjoys providing comprehensive, patient-centred care across all aspects of general practice.

Dr. Pran Lal is a highly experienced General Practitioner with over 40 years of medical experience across a broad range of healthcare services. His clinical interests include general medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics, sports and workplace injuries, skin checks and skin cancer management, ear, nose and throat care, antenatal and postnatal care, women’s health, and chronic disease management with a particular focus on diabetes.

Dr. Lal provides comprehensive general practice services, with special interests in Antenatal & Postnatal Care, ENT, Obesity Management, Men’s Health, Paediatrics, Respiratory Medicine, Sports & Exercise Medicine, Women’s Health, and Chronic & Complex Disease Management.

In addition to English, Dr. Lal also speaks Gujarati, Hindi, and Punjabi, allowing him to communicate effectively with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Dr Malabika Sarma

Sleep Scientist

Dr Malabika Sarma completed her medical degree overseas and after spending 14 years in the UK working in healthcare data management, she relocated to Australia with her family in 2012.

She is an extremely hard working and passionate health care professional with a special interest in Sleep Medicine and Sleep Studies.

She has undergone training in sleep studies and sleep medicine under eminent ENT surgeon Dr John Malouf from Sleep GP and has completed the Fundamentals of Sleep Medicine Course from the Faculty of Medicine and Health, at the University of Sydney.

Doctors @ Ormeau Town Centre are pleased to offer her services in the diagnosis and management of snoring and sleep related disorders including sleep apnoea.

Brad Seath

Osteopath

Brad completed his Bachelor of Clinical Sciences and Master of Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University in Bilinga, QLD.

Brad is particularly interested in exercise rehabilitation and restorative practices to get his clients moving again and feeling their best. Brad takes an individualistic approach to each client and their presenting complaint. Whatever the condition, Brad works to identify and treat underlying causes with a range of manual therapy techniques, including HVLA, exercise rehabilitation, dry needling, and myofascial cupping.
Brad grew up in Sydney, playing competitive cricket and golf at a high level, after school, he completed a Bachelor of Business. After owning and operating a Snap Fitness Gym for six years, he soon found his true passion for helping people through osteopathic practices.

Having moved to the coast several years ago, he enjoys spending time leading a healthy lifestyle with his wife, newborn son and their two dogs.
